More Confessions Of A Bowiephile: I'm Not Some Piece Of Teenage Wildlife

In 1980 Bowie released his post-Berlin trilogy album, Scary Monsters and Super Creeps, and everyone went ga-ga over the singles "Ashes to Ashes" and "Fashion." I, however, think those songs are great but not nearly as wonderful as the anthemic "Teenage Wildlife." This is a song you need to listen to at full volume while driving to the beach with the windows down. Grab your sunglasses, try to forget about the price of gasoline, and enjoy the "blue skies above, sun on your arms, strength in your stride, even hope in those squeaky clean eyes."

This is an album you really ought to have in your collection. Please, for my sake, have a better summer discovering not only "Teenage Wildlife," but this entire record. Amazon away!
