It's Friday and It's Time for Reading Rainbow, With Stereolab
The moogs in Stereolab's 1996 track, "Pinball," make me think back to those glorious days of classic 80's literature featured on the show, Reading Rainbow (still on the air). The song's opening synthesizers sound very similar to the ones used in the show's theme song.
Get ready to be 6 years old again:
"Moogie-Synth in the sky/Laetitia can go twice as high..." Download the song, buy lots of Stereolab, go on a tour of some crayon factory, and then have a pizza party!
This just in: LeVar Burton will be joining Stereolab in 2008, on their A Wrinkle in Time World Tour! LeVar will be playing the magic flute.
