New Music From Broken Social Scene's Co-Founder Brendan Canning
It's fair to say that Brendan Canning's breezy and hard-driving song "Hit the Wall" from Broken Social Scene's 2nd volume of Presents, sounds a lot like, well, Broken Social Scene. That, of course, is not a bad thing by any means, even though a part of me wishes to be thrown a curve ball from these lovingly noisy, always melodic Canucks. Then again, when you've got an awesome sound like they do, why change it?
