Not All Muslims Are Terrorists, Or Even Islamic...
In fact, the San Diego-based band The Muslims owe more to Jonathan Richman than to Allah. Their subversive garage-punk is substantive and loose, such is the case with "American," from their self-titled 12". It's a patriotic stab at those who attempt to disguise their US origins and wish they were from "across the pond." To those who thought no one was watching, well.."We see right through/What's become of you/Yea, we see right through/You're red, white and blue."
