On Father's Day: A Springsteen Tribute to Tim Russert

As many of you know Tim Russert, NBC News Washington Bureau Chief and moderator of Meet the Press, passed away on Friday.

Personally, I feel a loss because this is really the first time that I have followed the presidential campaigns very closely and therefore would always tune into Russert for his no-spin, hard-hitting interviews and round-table discussions. He asked the questions I cared about and was always prepared to back up his points.

Russert was a huge Springsteen fan, so in honor of the great, hard-working journalist, I have posted the Boss' 1975 classic "Thunder Road." I have also taken the liberty of coining a new phrase in his honor. Whenever someone is insanely prepared for an interview or otherwise, that person will now, officially be accused of "pulling a Russert."
