The Eternal Children: A "Freak Folk" Documentary

The Eternal Children: A "Freak Folk" Documentary

What do children, psychedelic drugs, and cross-dressing have in common? The Nagchampa smoke-filled kingdom of the Freak-Folk movement!

In this realm of communal love and weirdness, Devendra Banhart is a dashing knight, the Coco Rosie sisters are mustachioed princesses, Antony is prince, and Vashti Bunyan is queen. However, swapping roles is not only allowed, it's encouraged.

Take it or leave it, these musicians are humble owners of one of the new art movements in today's music scene, where such originality is too often either scarce or pretentious.

If you dig the hippie ways Devendra Banhart and company, you'll love the smoothing sounds of Vashti Bunyan's pastoral folk. Buy her classic, Just Another Diamond Day!
